ABOUT ME

Matilda Gazzard’s work focuses on historical references, with a special interest in 1960s pop culture. She uses oil and acrylic paint on a large scale, utilising free form canvas pieces as well as textile elements. Heavily inspired by pop artists of the 1960s, cinema and LGBTQIA+ history, her work is an ode to celebrity past and present, encompassing these themes in whimsical compositions.
